HIYou can use pretty much any graphics programs to make your pages. Most digital designers , me included, graphics are in .PNG files (transparent backgrounds) and .JPG format - which is usually used for the 12x12 papers. They are usually made in 300 DPI so that you can also print them out to use with your traditional scrap pages.
I have both Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro but I tend to use Paint Shop Pro as I feel you can do more in that program, plus it's wayyyy cheaper than Photoshop, lol.
You can find a great digital beginners tutorial here: http://www.digitalscrapbookplace....versity/Scrapping101/basics.shtml
Hope all this helps!

So I have been playing really hard with my new paint shop pro the last couple of weeks!
I have created a few layouts, I have only printed them in 8x8 though as dont have the 12x12 printer.
What do you think?

Awesome! You've done a great job on both of these layouts, I really like them. How do you like the PSP program? If you are looking for tutorials on using Paint Shop Pro I have some on my other website, you can find them here: http://www.unicorndesigns.ca/tutorial.htm
If you do a Google search you can find lots of great sites with other PSP tutorials.

I am actually really enjoying the program I am still on my free trial so I dont know if buying the full version will unlock any secrets! But the program offers tutorials aswell as you go along! It was a little overwhelming opening it up for the first time!
I will check out the tutorial sites you have given me! The pages are looking great in the chatterbox albums I purchased!!!!

Glad to hear that..I just love the scarlet color albums, I'm hoping to get more of these in the 12x12's.
